Rail vehicle air supply system Is mainly used for the braking, pneumatic springs, open/close of doors, elevation of collection bows, etc.
Rail vehicle Rir supply system is composed of the air compressor, motor, electrical control box and air post-treatment equipment, in which the air compressor is the main part. Currently, the air compressor for the rail vehicle air supply system is mainly of piston type. the screw-type applications are quite few and are in trial. However, both the two types of air compressors, imported or domestic, have disadvantages such as high noise, high vibration and high maintenance cost. Especially the domestic piston-type or screw-type air compressors, due to their even higher failure rate, are generally excluded from the localization process of the rail vehicles. The Imported air supply systems, although with relatively reliable performances, are expensive and have high vibration and noise, directly affecting the surroundings along the stations and rails as well as the comfort. Once the warranty period is due, the maintenance cost is also unbearable, Therefore, all the domestic rail vehicle manufactures and operators are paying high attention and looking forward to the existence of domestic air supply systems with higher cost effectiveness.
To play a role in the localization process of the rail vehicles, our company has been engaged in the researth and delelopment of the rail vehicle air supply system since 2003. The main idea is to assemble a novel rail vehicle air supply system with the sliding-vane air compressor made by our company as the main part and with the macromolecular film dryer as the post treatment device for the compressed air.
As the sliding-vane air compressor is a new type of rotary air compressor, it has the features such as compact structure, beautiful appearance, operation stability with no vibration, low failure rate, maintenance-free metal parts and much lower maintenance cost compared with other types of air compressors. The macromolecular lilm dryer technology apperearing in 1980s in the foreign countries characterized by high drying efficiency, low volume, no need of mechanical and electrical control, long service life and reliable performances. It is with such two advanced technologies and parts that our designed and developed the novel rail vehicle air supply system.
Currently, the rail vehicle air supply system developed by our company is completely comparable with the foreign rail vehicle air supply systems in the technical performance requirements such as operation reliability of air compressor, noise, vibration, volume, automation controllevel, compressed air cleanliness and suapension of air supply single system. The completion of this project means the technology has achieved the acme of the rail vehicle air supply system technology domain.
